Women Mentoring

Women Mentoring Ministry
Did you know that “Mentoring is God’s idea – and God’s idea for us”. In GLCFI, we believe that God wants us to support each for the purpose of growing deeper in our relationships with Jesus. This can occur in casual, informal friendships, or in a formal mentoring relationship.
Purpose

GLCFI Mentoring Ministry seeks to promote relationship development and spiritual growth. We utilize more spiritually mature women to serve as role models and imitators of Christ in the lives of other women. The focus is developing a personal relationship with women while helping them to grow in their walk/relationship with Christ. Our anchor scriptures are Titus 2:3-5; 1 Corinthians 11:1 and Ecclesiastes 4:12
Our Approach

GLCFI Mentoring ministry uses a mentoring relationship model that may be (1 mentor/1-2 mentees). The length of the relationship commitment is six months. There are two opportunities to apply to enter into a mentoring relationship each year; January entry and July entry. The number of mentees accepted will be determined according to the availability of trained mentors.
What is GLCFI Mentoring Ministry?

GLCFI Mentoring ministry is for women of all ages based on Titus 2:3-5. This is a ministry that deliberately develops friendships among women of different generations. Women invest in the lives of each other through encouragement, guidance, listening, laughing and loving. The goal is to form strong and lasting relationships that are a source of support, growth and strength.
